Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC®)
The Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) requires the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC®) for those who need access to secure areas of U.S. maritime facilities and vessels. IMPACT reimburses the application fee for ironworker members.
The program provides certificates and photo identification cards specifying each welding process in which an ironworker is certified allowing verification of skills by employers.
