IMPACT is a partnership designed to:
• Provide a forum for Ironworkers and contractors to address mutual concerns
• Encourage reasonable balanced solutions
• Provide the region with a national network of IMPACT Regional Advisory Boards
• Promote discussion of issues affecting the industry as a whole
• Enable the creation of effective strategies for resolving concerns
• Create opportunities for the ironworking industry
• Expand job opportunities through progressive and innovative cooperative programs
IMPACT is overseen by:
• A board of trustees composed of an equal number of labor and management representatives
IMPACT members are:
• Ironworker Locals
• Signatory Contractors - who are committed to increasing the competitiveness and market share of the union ironworking industry
IMPACT is funded in equal parts by:
• The contributions of its labor and management members who have elected to include
IMPACT in their collective bargaining agreements
IMPACT is a:
• 501c(5) nonprofit and is classified as a 302c(9) organization under the Labor Relations Act
