Ironworker Management Progressive Action Cooperative Trust

Expanding Job Opportunities for Ironworkers and their Contractors

The off the Job accident program has been a God's send for our injured members and helps them from digging a financial hole. There is a process  of educating the members, following up with the paperwork to the Trust Fund, insuring the member is paid. This extra time is on behalf of the Business Manager but it is worth it.

Sincerely,
Michael L. Baker
President
Iron Workers District Council of North Central States

Noted Construction Leader and Innovator Kevin Hilton Named CEO of IMPACT

04/30/2012

Kevin Hilton, former Executive Assistant to the CEO of the Ironworker Management Progressive Action Cooperative Trust (IMPACT), takes the reins as CEO effective today, April 30, 2012.  Eric Waterman, the current and founding CEO of IMPACT retired from the organization April 27.

“It is with great excitement that we welcome the next generation of leadership to the head of IMPACT.  Hilton has already demonstrated an aptitude for implementing innovative new ideas, and we feel he will be an excellent successor to CEO Waterman,” said General President Walter Wise and William Brown, CEO of Ben Hur Construction Co., St. Louis.  The two men serve as Co-Chairs on IMPACT’s Board of Trustees.

Noted as an industry advocate and visionary leader in the construction industry, Hilton has already had a transformative effect at IMPACT and the Iron Workers, where he has implemented updated, comprehensive drug testing procedures and a more technologically savvy communications program.

Hilton worked alongside CEO Waterman both at the National Erectors Association (NEA) and in his current capacity at IMPACT.  Before coming to IMPACT, Hilton served more than 12 years as a senior vice president at The Association of Union Constructors (former NEA) and the National Maintenance Agreement Policy Committee (NMAPC).

“It is my great honor to succeed Eric Waterman—an icon in the construction industry.  As we charge headlong into the 21st century, it is my commitment to build upon Eric’s innovation over the past nine years and continue to deliver stunning services to the entire Ironworker and Contractor community,” Hilton said.
