Ironworker Management Progressive Action Cooperative Trust

Expanding Job Opportunities for Ironworkers and their Contractors

The off the Job accident program has been a God's send for our injured members and helps them from digging a financial hole. There is a process  of educating the members, following up with the paperwork to the Trust Fund, insuring the member is paid. This extra time is on behalf of the Business Manager but it is worth it.

Sincerely,
Michael L. Baker

PRIDE, a construction labor and management group, said the four will be honored for their roles in advancing the group's mission to make St. Louis the best place to build. An awards luncheon is set for August 20th at the Renaissance Grand and Suites Hotel in downtown St. Louis.

  • The late I.E. Millstone, philanthropist and founder of Millstone Construction (now Millstone Bangert Inc.) will be saluted with the Industry Impact Award.
  • John Mulligan, founder and owner of Mulligan Construction Inc., will receive the Al Fleischer Management Award, named for the late co-founder of PRIDE.
  • Rick Post, construction, transmission and specialty contractor manager with Prairie State Generating Company LLC will receive the Joe Rinke Owner Award, named for PRIDE's first owner co-chair.
  • Joseph Hunt, general president of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers, will receive the Dick Mantia Labor Award, named for PRIDE co-founder and board member emeritus.

"In their own unique way, each of these men has advanced economic development through construction teamwork," said Jim LaMantia, executive director of PRIDE, in a statement. "They have been dedicated to the highest quality, most productive and safest construction practices."
